Bo'ness Amateur Swimming Club

The club really needs your support to attend our Celebration Evening Friday 25^th March 6.30pm, Fisons Hall, Bo’ness.  This is an evening not only to celebrate your fantastic swimmers but to recognise the effort and support that parents, carers, coaches, poolside helpers, and lifeguards have given to the club.

After our successful Club Champs help in December we wanted to share the trophy winners with you.

Firstly, congratulations to all of you that took part and supported the event. The swimmers all did brilliantly and made their coaches very proud. The parents, coaches and helpers were fantastic as the event wouldn’t have happened without you.

Well done to BASC swimmers who too part in Loch Morlich Open Water event today 

Just wanted to give you all a quick update about swimming this week.  You will probably be aware by now that Falkirk Council have not permitted lets to start back at Bo’ness Academy.  They are waiting to see how everything is operating as the kids return to school.  We are hoping that we will get our lets back around the second week in September but that is still tbc.

Last weekend the club attended its first competition in over a year. This was the Festival of Swimming that was run nationally by Scottish Swimming, across 3 pools located in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Edinburgh.

Thank you for your patience and support.  We wanted to give you an update of where we are in terms of getting us Back to the Water. This is the position as far as we know but the announcement by the Government today may change some of this, we will let you know when we know more.

We hope you are all safe and well.  As we are working on our return to water plans with the other clubs and Scottish Swimming we wanted to provide you with a further update.
