Like all Swimming Clubs, Bo’ness ASC has a management committee of parent volunteers to ensure that things happen to support the club. Essential activities like:
- child protection;
- interaction with bodies like Scottish Swimming and FIRST;
- club membership management;
- competition entry management;
- gala organization and communications;
are all undertaken by the management committee.
Once a year we have an AGM to review the year past and begin to plan for the year coming.
Please show your support for our swimmers at the AGM – the Club cannot run without you!
Appended to this notice are the AGM agenda and draft minutes of the last AGM.
Please consider yourself for one of our committee posts. Self-nominations for members of the Management Committee can be added to the nominations sheet on the notice board at Bo’ness Recreation Centre, emailed using the attached form or please speak to or email our Club Secretary (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or other committee member by 11 May 2022.
Any proposed alterations to the Club’s Constitution and Bye-Laws must be signed by two members eligible to vote at the AGM and submitted in writing to the Club Secretary by 11 May 2022. Copies of the Constitution and Bye-Laws are available on the Club’s website. Current proposed amendments are also on this email.
