BASC bag packers managed to raise £517.45 on Saturday at the Bo’ness Tesco store. 18 volunteers were split over 4 tills, each working one 2 hr slot between 10am and 4pm.
A big thanks to everyone who took part, to Eirwen Hopwood for organizing, to Tesco’s for letting us be there and the shoppers who gave so generously on the day!
Quite a few of the shoppers commented that they or someone they knew had been involved with the club in the past and were pleased to see and hear that the club is still going strong. The most prevailing memory for many seems to have been the early starts for some reason…
