MAIN FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
- To attend and represent BASC at all FIRST meetings, including their AGM
- To fulfil one of the key roles on the FIRST Committee (Chair, Treasurer or Secretary) – subject of a separate FIRST Role Description
- Be completely familiar with the BASC and FIRST constitutions, rules, policies, committee procedures and the Scottish Swimming rules and regulations
- Report back to the BASC Committee regarding FIRST business
- Provide information regarding FIRST achievements for inclusion in BASC Newsletters, Facebook etc.
- Support and encourage the work of all involved in FIRST and BASC
- Promote the need for regular training for all staff
- Follow and promote the SASA Child Protection policy

REQUIREMENTS
- Be a member of Scottish Swimming
- Attend appropriate training
- Sign and adhere to the Club’s Volunteer Code of Conduct

Time commitment can vary dependent on size and nature of club, and events attending.
